Well earned pint

Early start today and wanted to get a brick session done before heading south. CB went for the interview / chat while I headed out for a 20K bike ride and 5K run. Completed both in 1:23 including a long time locking the bike up.
Headed up town to find a shirt for Linda's funeral. We have decided to go away from tradition and wear something pink / red. Two of Linda's favourite colours. After an hours search I decided on a shirt that I could also wear for work. Light pink stripes.
Fellow blipper RD came up as he wanted to come to the funeral with us. He used to see Linda when down in Brum for work and spent last year with her at Glastonbury in a camper van.
We finally managed to leave just after 11 once we had finished packing and faffing. And so the long drive down started. All Ok until just after Manchester and then it was stop start to Brum.
RD and myself headed into Brum for some food and so I could catch up with an old Uni mate. A pint in the OJS before heading to one of Linda's favourite bars Brew Dog for food and a few more beer.
A long day but nice to catch up with RJ for a few.
