Goodbye Linda

Spent the morning playing with the camera housing that arrived at J's parents yesterday. Need more time but it looks like they have sent one bit the wrong size.
Headed over to V, V & V's house to drop some stuff off before going to the funeral parlour to meet Linda's parents.
The procession went near to Linda's house before going to the crematorium. It was a lovely service, one that Linda would have approved of. Some very nice words from the family and we learned a few things about her life before we met her.
It was then back to the Kings Heath Cricket club for the wake. Turns out this was just behind my first school.
Had a few beers and caught up with friend. Linda's Mum and Dad seemed to hold up very well and enjoyed the wake as much as you can.
Left them around 7 and headed back to the V's house with HC and RH for a bottle of cava and a fish supper before calling it a night.
Not the best day I have had, full of emotions, ups and downs, but I like to think we gave Linda the farewell she would have approved of.
