A Day at the Zoo

Today we went to London Zoo with friends. The weather was kind to us, considering the awful weather so far during this half term.

Amy and James loved it. I also enjoyed the day, but have always felt a little sad at zoos watching the animals on display. I know the Zoological Society of London do a lot towards animal conservation, but I felt some of the animals really didn't have much space. I think we saw everything and all children were looking tired by the time we left.

We ended the day having tea at Carluccio's at Waterloo, whilst waiting for Mark to finish work. I then handed them over to him and stayed in London to meet a friend for the evening. A great day out!
