Cake Making

This afternoon James wanted to make some cakes. So whilst Amy went off and read for a while, James and I spent some quality time in the kitchen.

When it came to decorating them though, Amy definitely wanted to be involved! So they decorated half each. Amy wanted to pipe her icing, so after a quick lesson in how to hold and squeeze a piping bag, I let her loose on her 6 cakes. She did a really god job for her first attempt at piping.

Of course after seeing Amy do this, James also wanted a go. His weren't bad but I had far more involvement... I certainly didn't want to be making any more frosting if his all went wrong!
