Mountain Stream Champagne!

Feel the power in LARGE. (Apologies for the sun in your eyes, this was taken with the GoPro.)

The snow is melting fast and the mountain streams are swelling the rivers below. That first mountain walk of the year is always magical, spotting the brightly coloured alpine flowers competing for the sun's energy. However the wind, whistling across the plateau between Anzeindaz and the Pas de Chevielle, was bitterly cold so a retreat to coffee in the valley happened very smartly. Three chamois and a marmot could not understand why I was leaving their beautiful mountain playground so quickly.
