Hello!

Maisie is very curious about the kittens. They are two weeks old now. Two have opened their eyes and the little ginger and white one hasn't...I'm sure they will open over the weekend.

I'm handling them everyday so that they get used to it. Dolly is very good and let's me take them whenever I like. The little black and white one is female and a right old moaner. The more she gets handled the better. The boys are very laid back.

My friend came over today and chose the little ginger and white one. I think she is going to call him Simba. I'm glad he's going to her as I'll be able to see him. She will look after him so well. She took lots of video footage and photos today. I've got to send her a photo when his eyes open. Its nice knowing he is going to a good home.

I have another friend who is interested in the ginger one, so I just have to find someone who wants my little girl.

The dogs are really sweet with them. I'm making sure that the kittens get used to the dogs just incase they go to homes with dogs.

They have grown a fair bit in the two weeks since they were born. It's lovely to see them grow and develop.

I wanted to go to the cinema tonight but there isn't much on. Hopefully I'll still have a date night with the hubby......although football is on!

Tomorrow I'm hoping to go to London to watch the triathlon. The elite are racing tomorrow and Joe public on Sunday....I'd like to have been Joe public doing it. I think it would be a good idea to learn to ride a racing bike first. I've never entered anything like that before and would love to see how it all works. There are a few thousand entered...where do they put all the bikes? Where do you leave your running shoes? Do you wear a wetsuit. I'd be fine with the swim. I'm no runner but can do it. It's just the bike I need to conquer. So many things I'd like to find out first....then maybe this time next year I'll be one of the Joe public.
