I can't remember the last time I was really excited by a book, but I am enthralled by Lesley Riddoch's Blossom (What Scotland Needs to Flourish). And that seems to be an understanding of why we are as we are. Perhaps understanding will help us to make our September decision. It's the kind of book which shames you with your previous ignorance but polishes up your synapses until they spark into life after a lengthy snooze!

Gotta dash ..... Chapter 9 awaits!
