Fresh as a daisy?!

The weather hasn't been fantastic in Brittany so far this week. Today was particularly overcast. However, undeterred, we headed out on our bikes. We combined two cycle routes close to where we're staying to make one large route & a great route it was. Unfortunately the rain came on about 5 miles into the ride and there were a number of drizzly showers for the rest of the day. We donned our waterproofs & headed on past beautiful meadows, fields of barley & wheat, newly planted maze, through woods & past some marshland. Everything was so fresh & vibrant in the light drizzle & it felt good to be alive. Suffering now however as the 25 miles are catching up with us. This was taken as we approached home.
