After I had cleared the nettles and brambles in front of the gravestone I posted yesterday from a churchyard in Yr Wyddgrug, this is the inscription I found...

lieth the Body of John
son of William and Elinor
Corbet, who was led by his
Pretended friends; in Stock
Port near Manchester, on
a Dark night, to a strange
and Dangerous place, and
thrown into the Deep to be
no more, but in his life, was
honest, and sincere. Gods
word was his rule and guide
who departed fro this life Feby
