Through the Roof
An expression for things getting unexpectedly high. The temperature in the house (because The Husband opposes air conditioning before June 21 or heat before December 21) is heading "through the roof". My stress levels, for a number of reasons, are headed "through the roof". And this photo, of my go-to utility blip, the CN Tower, is taken, literally, through the roof of Union Station.
