Monday: Readers' World #9: Zagreb

It is Mum's last night tonight so we decided to head out for dinner. The decision was aided by the fact that I have cooked twice while Mum has been here, so she has exhausted my repertoire.

I had a very nice goulash, Mum had a very nice pork fillet.   I will say one thing about Croatian service in restaurants and bars - it is excellent......until it comes to paying.  At that point, you could be dying in your chair and nobody would notice!  It is admirable that they are in no hurry to get rid of you but you can take it too far the other way.

Anyway, I liked the fact that this chap resorted to his book, rather than his phone.  Part of Readers' World.
