What have they seen?

These two brasses are on the wall in St Mary's Church, Saffron Walden.

As I saw them I liked to think they have had a good few gossips over the years about all the goings on inside the church.

We were there for the christening of Elisia and Cameron, six month old twins. I must be the only person who didn't take photos of the them. We weren't there as family and I didn't feel like pushing myself to the front especially as there was an 'official' photograph, something I have never seen at a christening.

The service was followed by a gathering at a local village hall. Felt a little bit on the sidelines but maybe that was just how I was feeling. Food was good but the their grandparents are professional caterers :-)

We then went over to The Angel, I had my obligatory nap, then had a lovely dinner, and even a little alcohol, well two G&T, very unusual for me.
