Raindrops on...........

well not roses.........but moss on the porch roof.

Usual sort of Saturday, had to pop into Bishops Stortford to buy presents for the christening we are going to tomorrow, then home to do housework but ended up skyping Jon and Dana in Bangkok so less housework done than anticipated, beds made, bathroom cleaned and ironing done.

Fitted in a nap, then Geoff cooked dinner while I did more ironing, spoke to mum, did some knitting. Not sure if I was being particularly slow but it took me over and hour to knit 177 stitches with of vikkel braid!

Couple of updates:

Mum - tongue still sore but has eaten a bit today
Dad - having quite a few funny turns so sooner he has his pacemaker redone this Friday the better
Bangkok - school was cancelled yesterday so no work for Jon and Dana which is good as he went down with tonsilitis and had a very high temperature last night. Hoping he ha a better night tonight,
Brother - looks like divorce is off.......don't ask me...........
Tomorrow - Geoff has decided to take me away to our favourite hotel tomorrow night for no other reason than he thinks we need some time to ourselves.

Other than that another quiet day :-)
