Higgins

We had a lovely day in Bedford, and forty years ago I never thought I'd ever write those words. My old friend Mark was there (visiting his dad who's 102 and going strong!) and we went to meet him and go to this recently revamped gallery/museum. These fab Bawdens were part of an exhibition there.

We strolled round town, which has changed but is still recognisable, and hung out with Mark and Jenny his sister who lives in a bit of the town that I'd never really visited in all my years in Bedford. Maybe that's why I never liked it before!
