Road Closed!

The railway network in Central Scotland is being electrified. At some glorious point in the future, all of the trains that run on it wil be clean, quiet beasts; there will be many more of them than before and they will be larger and so less congested.

Lovely. But getting the work done is something of a pain! This is the main road between my house and Falkirk... closed. The road beidge is being heightened to make space for the cable gantries. It has been closed since February, and I believe it is scheduled to be closed until October. And when that's done, there are more roads going to be affected in the area.

It's all for the good, but it can be rather furstrating...
