Into The Woods

The Dunblane Centre will present a production of Stephen Sondheim's rarely-perofmed work Into The Woods (http://www.intothewoodsdunblane.com) outdoors at the Dunblane Hydro Hotel on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this coming week. Today, we were rehearsing in the Dunblane Centre, and for the first time we had more of the band than just pianos.

We did two runs, and by the end of the second I was definitely feeling good about the show. Sure, there is a little bit of tidying left to do, but there is a show there, and it will be good to go on Thursday when the audience arrives. I have a fairly minor role but even so have struggled learning all of the words - the major principals have done a fantastic job - I think that this show must have about three times the number of words of a "normal" musical!

So, if you happen to be in Central Scotland towards the end of the week and have a free evening, please come along!
