16.9C with long sunny spells. Light breeze.

Apothecary7 was off work today for the Bank holiday. We had one of our morning visits to M&S at City Quay, then got Maeve the Deerhound from the car and had a wander along to the Howff.

After lunch we spent some time in the back garden planting out Cosmos and Sunflowers. Some in pots and some in the little border I prepared recently. Maeve joined us in the garden and watched from one lawn then moved to another for some shade when she got too warm.
