Bye Bye Jet Lag

Through my international travels, I've heard all sorts of theories about jet lag. Some say you shouldn't sleep on the plane, others say it depends on what you eat and drink, still others sleep as much as possible then jump into the new time zone on a regular schedule. I usually lean toward the last method.

With a 15 hour time difference between Shanghai and California, my body is right to be confused. But I tried to put that confused mental clock to work. When I woke up at 5:00 am, I went for a run. Then I stayed busy all day. I clipped these dead branches off a tree, cooked breakfast and dinner for us, cleaned, and took plenty of breaks to check out the fun critters who come visit Grandpa and Grandma's house, like yesterday's deer. I'll make sure to stay up past 9:00 pm, and jet lag should be conquered! :)
