Tekapo Chill

A morning view as we departed from Lake Tekapo leaving behind a light covering of snow on the ground and sleet flying in with the bitterly wind, gusts so cold and strong it was hard to stand let alone keep the camera still. As we travelled home we had this cold front on our tail all the way with horrendous winds making for some fantastic weather watching - a most interesting drive home.

Just home for a breather, catch up with washing, a spruce up at the hairdressers and a re-pack of the bags before heading to the sky and north this time, not far and not for too long.
