Rural Tarras
As we left Wanaka behind the cloud formations were amazing, couldn't resist this one taken through the car window as hubby was driving.
A rural scene just near Tarras, where the countryside is dotted with vineyards of pinot noir and riesling grapes, farms of beef cattle, deer and merino sheep. Tarras is situated on the slopes of the upper reaches of the Clutha Valley, not far from the southern end of the Lindis Pass. The small settlement has a school, a church, a local newsletter and a historic tearooms.
We are on our way to Lake Tekapo, our last night before heading home.
Another backblip, thought it was time to catch up :))
