She is a Hero!

Just been into hospital to relieve son-in-law for a couple of hours, so he could get a shower. My girl is doing so well, but it's been a long, long time now, and two nights without sleep - she's exhausted. Midwife assured us Baby would be here by the morning... My youngest is now with her as well - I think that will be good for them both, and a help to son-in-law, who is also exhausted.

Now a rant. Midwife filled the birthing pool for her, and it was really helping with the pain. A doctor came - and WITHOUT EVEN SEEING HER - said she had to get out because she was high-risk, based on her having been sent in for scans because Baby supposedly not growing - except that latest scan says he is growing fine and no problem... Who cares that she has been left all day because not enough midwifes to attend to her, and that this was first thing that had actually helped?? Her midwife was upset but said there was nothing she could do - had to obey the doctor.
