Family fun

A trip over to Insch for me this afternoon to join the good folks from the Inside Insch project, many of whom are now heavily involved in the community association, ICAN. Today was the annual family picnic, which normally takes place in the Meadows, but because of the dreich miserable day was held inside the community centre instead. This didn't dampen the spirits of the families who came along with their picnic baskets, tartan rugs and myriad children for a fun afternoon. I don't often work on Sundays but it was no hardship today to spend some time here and catch up with progress on the various actions in the plan that was developed last year. What an enthusiastic bunch they are!
