Chasing the sunshine

Today we walked high up onto the ridge past fields of orchids, buttercups, globe flowers, daisies, blue gentians and more. The views were impressive but we were constantly looking behind us to the big black clouds clinging to the top of the mountains. The walk was delightful and it finished off with a little train journey back to meet our car at the end of the day. This is looking back up to the ridge which we had descended as we caught the last rays of sunshine.
