Today I went to the INDEX exhibition at the World Trade Centre, Dubai. This is the big interiors show in the UAE, and boy do these guys love a bit of bling in their houses.

In the evening I attended the Middle East Event Awards. By a strange twist of fate, I ended up driving there and back so it was a "dry" event for me. That is the first...and the last...time I will go to an awards evening without a drink in my hand.
