Gold Coast Schoolies

We had a great day today. Miles, Gina, Esme and I started with breakfast at CERES. It was such an incredible day that we cycled down there along the darebin trail and took our time.

Miles had a great time playing with the toys and looking at the chickens... hopefully we'll have the garden sorted enough that we can think about getting some of our own by the end of the year!

This evening The Shivering Timbers paid a 'rent' gig... we now practice at one of the schools, and in exchange we've agreed to play two of their social events a year for free. Tonight was the quiz night, and the theme was 'Gold Coast'.

Loads of people dressed up as school kids, old people and beach bums. It was hilarious. Between two of the quiz rounds, there was a game where they had to throw a gold coin the closest to a whiskey bottle to win it. This guy was getting pretty carried away and decided that his dress was a little restrictive!!
