Barton Fink

Wow. Today was about as hard as they get for us.

Miles has conjunctivitis and is obviously unwell. As such, he was awake in the night, so we all were. I woke up feeling pretty tetchy and he was really whiney, which didn't help things.

We'd planned to go and have an (alcoholic) drink this afternoon whilst he slept in the pram... something that Gina and I haven't had time to do for a long time, but it was obviously not going to happen today. We still made it out for a coffee, to a new place called Barton Fink (named after the classic Cohen Brothers film... I approve!) with Esme. This is the only shot I took all day at the cafe/bar). After that I took the little battler home and Gina and Esme went to try on some bridesmaid dressed for a wedding we're going to later in the year (back in the UK).

I spent a fair amount of the day working on some writing work that I needed to do for an application. We'll see how we go!
