Path to the back gardens

This is the entrance to the back gardens from the front of the house. On the right is filled with pachysandra which makes for a great ground cover. On the left I usually have some impatients (which are not yet planted) and then there are various flowering shrubs.
It was pouring rain today but I had my husband hold an umbrella over me and the to get todays shot. He got a little wet but was a good sport about it. I'll have to retake this shot once the flowers are planted and it's not so wet outside.
Hopefully tomorrow we will have a break from the rain.
