Soaked Snapdragons

My poor flowers took a beating today with the downpours of rain we had. Then the temperatures took a dive. It's about 46F outside right now! Brrrr! Hard to believe it was so hot just a few days ago.
To get this photo I was outside my house, in the rain, holding a piece of cardboard over my head to protect the camera while snapping the photo with the other hand. I was squatting to get down to the level of my pot of flowers but then realized I would have to let go of something in order to get up. I dropped the cardboard, grabbed onto the flower pot and prayed that we all didn't fall over as I got up. I could just imagine someone driving by and seeing me laying on the ground covered in dirt and snapdragons! The camera got a few drops of rain on it but nothing terrible due to a quick run for the door.
At least I got a good shot of the snapdragon with raindroplets and all!
