Piles for the pier

The MV Loch Seaforth will soon be in service between Ullapool and Stornoway. The main pier at Stornoway is currently being upgraded to accommodate the new vessel. My blip is of the piles stacked up for part of this work. If you check the size of the (tiny) caravan to the left of the the piles, you can see how huge they are.

I took the photo from the MV Isle of Lewis just before we left the island for our journey back home to Edinburgh after our week away on holiday.
