Taransay from Scarista Beach

Yesterday's storm blew itself out overnight so we were able to spend much of today in the sunshine on Scarista Beach.

Mr hazelh didn't believe me when I announced that I was on a mission to collect 500 shells from the shore to carry back to the house. Indeed he doubted that I had the resolve to complete the job, calculating that it would take me an hour and forty minutes to do so on my own. As things turned out, I worked much faster than expected. Mr hazelh soon saw how much fun I was having in the sand, so came he down from his perch atop a dune to help me gather shells 251-500.

I bet you can't guess why I need 500 shells ;-)
