Cosmic

I adore cosmos. Their leaves and structure are lovely, their flower buds are lovely and once many of the plants are flowering, the sight of a whole host of them waving in the breeze is lovely.
I've never grown them in our garden before, but this year I went out and got some seeds in early spring, and started them off indoors, I also sprinkled some more straight onto the soil a few weeks ago. They're all pretty small and I think it will be late summer before I have the sea of flowers I'm looking forward to but they're getting there.

I wanted to share and air a few thoughts about the problems I have with organisation because of Asperger's. Because we can feel so alone, peppered as we are among neuro-typical people, it's nice to connect with like minds through the Internet and share experiences and thoughts. That blog post is here: The Aspie's Guide to Organisation

Although I get less feedback for this kind of writing than for my fiction, I know it's being read - I can see all the shares - and I know it's doing something. I'd rather be quietly doing something than noisily doing very little.
