Lunch with daisies

Good journey into work. Managed the commuter dream of a double seat to myself and a quiet journey finishing off my book club book.

Went out to the local square to have my lunch. As soon as I'd sat down, the sun went in, the wind grew and it became fairly miserable. I stuck it out anyway just to make sure that I escaped the office for a few minutes.

Left on the dot and managed to get the great tie up of earlier train and bus. Great to be back home before 7pm. Ordered a Chinese takeaway for delivery and enjoyed a gin before it arrived.

Looking forward to a long weekend despite the weather forecast.
