Tom and Helen

Looking very happy at lunch today. I had better not say what Tom said about having to have his picture taken.

We tried to get all 10 grandchildren to pose together. We managed 90%, which I think is pretty good, although getting them all to look at the camera and smile at the same time proved impossible. 10% of their number was in a corner, having a tant.

Today's top individual poses were by Evie, who smiled constantly at her public; George, who is now a toddler rather than a baby; Harry, who gave us his usual "being photographed" smile; Jack, who really does believe that he rules; and Alex, who seems more grown-up each time I see him.
