Our leader.

Nicer Newburgh is a small group of people who maintain the village's flower tubs and troughs and communal planting areas. This is Graham, our leader; now retired he spent his his working life as a professional gardener. Thanks to him, and with a bit of help from the rest of us, the village is looking much, much better than it once did. This morning we finished removing 1500 Polyanthus plants from our various tubs, troughs and flower beds where they had helped brighten the winter days. They are now safely bedded into in their summer quarters where they will gather their strength for another fine show next winter.
