Happy birthday/children's day, whoever you are

It must be somebody's birthday somewhere, I said.

Let's have a party, I said.

Well, to be honest mum, it's a bit unfair that you have a mothers' day and Dad has a fathers' day, but we don't have a children's day.

Okay. We'll have a children's day party. So we did.

It mostly consisted of eating pizza and onion rings, blowing out candles on a children's day cake and playing madly random songs on youtube.

Today is children's day. Celebrate.
