Stalking the puppet man at the Mitchell

Back to see Mr Blundall to show him eldest's first attempt at a marionette.

The blip shows eldest being taught how to carve a puppet head from a block of Japanese Cypress. Such a fragrant smell from the wood. Really beautiful.

I've a feeling we'll be making puppet number two this weekend. At least eldest's showing signs of having a concentration span of more than 5 minutes, unlike his mother. The only interest I've stuck with for more than 5 mins seems to be Blip!
