Doha Days

He trains camels.

He did not know about the meteor shower this evening. We did. We went to the edge of the desert beyond the five miles of floodlights illuminating the camel track to look for them. The sky was clear. Mars and Venus and all the familiar northern hemisphere constellations were crystal clear in the warm desert night. Alas no meteors during the time we scanned the northern sky.
