Farm Drop

Farm drop is a new scheme across the country where you can place an order online through one website from local producers. And then you go and pick up your shopping. Tonight was the first Farm Drop event in the country (isn't Worthing fab?!). I placed my order on Monday evening and today I had to arrive a the church in town to pick up my stuff at any time between 6 and 8.

Which would have all been great except I got home from work /Beaver collection at ten to seven. Grabbed Daisy and to her to a long awaited Drs appointment. And he was thirty minutes late. After a v good appointment that sorted some good stuff, we left at 9 minutes to 8. I was the very last person to the church, they were waiting for me. Apparently I had missed all the freebies, including cake :(

Oh, but it was worth the wait. I met the chicken man who talked me through the three different types of his chickens who had laid these beautiful eggs. And I got a veg box and a shoulder of pork. Three things from three different local producers, all in one pick up. There are Farm Drops setting up all over the country, highly recommended if you like that type of thing.

Anyway the rest of the day. Pretty crap, delighted it is over, nothing worse happened than the rest of the week, so pretty successful.
