Skylark

Window halfway down in the car, sitting on a folded up jumper and fleece to give me height but still half on my knees, rain pouring, 500 lens out of the window... NEEDS TO BE VIEWED LARGE! Can I say that again LARGE!!

I set myself a task of photographing a skylark this afternoon; easier said than done I would add. Time ran by and and I clocked where the nests were and what their feeding rosta was... ish......In they flew out they went for food for the chicks and sometimes they landed on the rape stalks...as here. Interesting to see I thought. Got a common orchid with crab spider but was so chuffed to see the skylark feeding that it wasn't was my blip.
