Buttery

As the sun beamed over lunch it had to be that the butterflies came out. A bit of time off...grabbed the camera and jumped over the fence into the field to join the buttercups. There were two, the male and female orange tip butterflies fluttering around, very into each other. Stalking them I managed to get this but was too far away and they were far too flighty to get them together. May try again tomorrow.

How much 'stuff' can a student actually have? Spent the entire day (no 2 days) trying to make space, moving boxes, shifting 'piles', throwing boxes, bags ...going to the tip etc!!! I worry that throwing childhood things might be regretted but not my decision. You can't keep everything because of space! The washing machine has been on ALL day, (thank goodness it's sunny outside), the dishwasher, the tumble dryer - as there was overflow on the line and the hoover working pretty non stop. Very productive!

Slight trauma as a swallow came into the hall which I managed to lure out but not after a lot of mess! The doors open downstairs resulted in a greenfinch, blue tit and great tit all together - a positive aviary - in the conservatory!

Update on Peanut the rabbit - still alive currently but nearly had a close call having lost a tiny amount of hair with Tilly who has been encouraged to chase rabbits as they eat all the plants in the garden. It does appear quite unfazed! This results in trying to change the terminology from,'Where's the rabbit?' to calling it 'Bunny' or Peanut. It does rather like chamomile hay and is munching it's way valiantly through my strawberries which are luscious and we were rather looking forward to for supper. It also seems to have a penchant for pomodorino tomatoes too!

Buttery - well yes.... look at the yellow reflection in it's wings! :))
