Throw back Thursday

This is me back in 1978 helping to re-launch the family boat after a haul out. We had been living aboard for the previous 2 years sailing up and down the east coast of the USA. We were now getting ready to sail trans-Atlantic.

My father had built this boat himself in our back yard as I was growing up. Gair-Na-Mara is Gaelic for Sound of the Sea

Today is a house cleaning day as I have been slack all week.
