sos
despite freelancing for tspl for more than four years, and doing many sos shifts in that time, this was my first saturday shift on scotland on sunday (known to all in the office as sos as we're too lazy to speak three words). i hadn't been looking forward to it - i like my saturdays in glasgow, change of scenery, different people etc, and getting away from my desk for a day - tho seeing the weather i was pleased not to be venturing west. especially when i walked out of the office at 7pm and discovered it had been snowing quite heavily without my having realised...
the shot is grainy and weird as it was taken with the 'available light' function on my camera - exif data reveals the trick. i've always rather liked the effect tho, rather spooky. it is strange being able to take a photo in almost complete darkness and have it come out brightly. the wonders of technology.
