Polperro Harbour

Staring into the water in Polperro , one of the greatest of the Cornish fishing villages. Fish are rising to take the crumbs, the sun is making me drowsy, can it get any better than this?
I note with interest that almost all of the boats are at least fifty years old, and there are still fishing vessels operating here, it is still a working harbour, rather than a "millionaires playground"
Also there are quite a few cafes closed up, and empty, which may only mean that they don't normally open this early in the year, or perhaps things are not so good as they were last year, though we didn't come until July then.
The cafes were expensive, but the bakers are much more reasonably priced, if you want something for lunch you are much better off buying from them!
A feature unique to Polperro is the "Polperro Tram Service" which employs old electric milk floats with very rudimentary wooden bench seats in the back, no glass in the windows and give a very bumpy, yet somehow pleasant, and certainly welcome ride up the hill to the car park... if your are 70 plus, or merely weary it's very handy!
Being a Sutcliffe fan,I thought the sepia treatment looked quite good! :-)
