one day in France

Rochefort

Today was the second of the two English conversation days with French student nurses, this time in Rochefort. We parked next to the Corderie Royal, seen here, a very long building which made all the very long pieces of rope for the French Navy at one point.
There are lots of museums and interesting streets to visit and a very good market on a Saturday or so I'm told. I also found a very nice dentist who put a temporary filling in my tooth during my lunch hour!
So all in all, Rochefort is worth another visit I think, and preferably when the rain isn't so torrential!

Chicken update: all three survivors don't want to leave the hen house and have been resting quietly today. Two of them laid eggs.
