Iridescent Balls

Lying relaxing in front of the fire watching TV after a lazy day with the family.

In November I had been to the Christmas Show SECC with a friend where we treated ourselves - well our families, to some new Christmas decorations. I purchased two new baubles for the tree. Huge ones, so big that when you hang them on the tree you think "what the heck did I buy that for? "it's far too big".
It's too large to go anywhere else either. So for the next two weeks the baubles have been suspended precariously in the tree. Like every carbuncle that arrives, you know where it is and blimey you still couldn't miss it.
So every time you bend down to switch the Xmas tree lights on, you either clatter your head off one of the baubles or stare the other interplanetary visitor in the face.
