Bleeding Hearts

Finally all the work in the garden is almost done , no doubt ready to start again as it seems to be a never ending task keeping everything in order.

This has always been my favourite flowering plant , these tiny heart - shaped flowers are so perfectly formed. Probably very appropriate today as my arms and hands are covered in scratches and blood from today's work cutting back rose hedging.

Large is well worth a look for the detail.
