Goodbye John

Today was the funeral of my cousin John. As far as funerals go it was lovely. Lots of people were there to see him off. One of his friends flew over from Australia to say goodbye. Nice music, lovely readings and lots of wonderful memories to share. He was always smiling and laughing...a very happy soul.

These photos were taken four years ago at a party. I'm with him and my other cousin Gill. We shared lots of nice times together.

It was lovely to see the family together again. The next time I'll see them will be to scatter his ashes.

Used a lot of tissues today...we all loved John.
