Last evening when I passed this local pond, two swans were gliding serenely on its surface, looking very beautiful. It was too late for a blip so I came back this morning hoping to get a special shot. There was no sign of the swans and there were several fishermen there so I guess the swans were scared away. I took a few pretty scenes, rather empty of interest, and then this fellow flew in and chose his spot as if to make a point. Was he giving a message to the fishermen or was it the other way round? Either way he looked very comfortable on his perch. Maybe the swans will be back another day.
