Kestrel Chicks

I've noticed the Kestrels hunting more often during the past few days and decided to get the bins out to inspect. It's wonderful to see the first glimpse of something fluffy moving about the nest. I can see only three little chicks but, there may be more.

Last year, two of three chicks made it to adulthood. The weather was foul so it was a miracle they survived. Things are so much better this year and so will be their chances.
