Splash of colour

This is one of our horse fields and probably one of the only fields in the whole county that hasn't been shaved in the drive for silage and biomass energy. Suspect all passing farmers have a heart attack on seeing it.

Have asked MrB to make me a big poster to set up with a warning sign "Danger Bees and Insects".

The field is actually very poor for horses with loads of poisonous buttercups but perhaps still some variety for the bees until we let the horses loose on it soon. The horses will not doubt find some grass among the "weeds" and anyway they are looking very fat at the moment.

Would be great to have some sheep to mow the field later.
